The webshow in Your Band Shirt is all about helping people find new music, and these are the reasons that it does a better job of it than MySpace.

1. No more hours spent searching unsigned bands just to find one that's decent, "BAND" does the tedious part for me.

2. I'm entertained while learning about new music. I can't say clicking on hundreds of links is as fun.

3. The music store is directly on the artist's page, no more trying to find them on iTunes or Amazon, and odds are, if they are small or unsigned they don't have either.

4. Every day I have a chance to win an awesome shirt through their live stream.

5. My voice can actually be heard on the band's episode, live chat, or forum. I'm not just one in nine hundred comments.

6. I can help support small, awesome bands so they don't have to sell out and turn to the dark side.

7. I don't get spammed by wanna-be adult actresses, or have to worry about getting my account getting phished.

8. My sister told me the co-hosts are ridiculously, ridiculously good looking.

9. I don't have to: login, fill in a captcha, go to myspace music, search for the artist, find the real artists in the list of fakes and fan pages, then play their music.

10. MySpace = bucket of suck.

In addition to learning how truly lame MySpace is for trying to find the best new music, we have learned some other important lessons from this launch that we'd like to share with you just in case you ever decide to launch your own TV network or large website:

First, it's really not a good idea to try setting up AdBrite 12 hours before launch. However if you must attempt such a perilous feat, Amp is by far the best tasting energy drink. No matter how excited you may be to get your idea out into the world, be sure to pace yourself. Dont try and force out a launch before you are ready.

Secondly, send your spouse and children on a nice long distant vacation. If there happens to be no cell service or telephones, all the better.

Third, hiring an office cleaning lady is a very wise decision.

Fourth, don't let anyone else answer your emails, no matter how many you receive a day.

Fifth, never attempt a launch during a holiday season, it will change the everything from joy and hope to an X-mas massacre. In fact, don't attempt anything at all during the holiday season, except for maybe sleeping for 24 hours straight.

Sixth, believe it or not, there is such a thing as a sixth wind. If you happen to be fortunate enough to be on one, make sure to go to the bathroom: going by choice is a lot better than sharding in your jeans. In all seriousness, keep on trucking, because right before the point of failure comes success.
